CREAM CHEESE & BAGELS
Jazzed to the Max has, in close collaboration with Radio Netherlands, recorded its official debut album, Cream Cheese & Bagels, which will be send to over 1200 radiostations all over the world. At this moment Jazzed to the Max is looking for a record company in order to launch their album on the Dutch market.
The Album features songs like Dat Dere, Spring Can
Really Hang You Up The Most, Harold's House Of Jazz and Better Than My Favorite
Things, but also originals like In Or Out by W.Friede and Lullaby by E.Baggerman.
With two exceptions all arrangements are by Eva Baggerman.
In Lover Come Back To Me, Some Other Time and Ballad Of The Sad Young Men, guest
soloist appearances are made by Benjamin Herman (alt-sax) and Eric Vloeimans
(trumpet).
The preface is written by no less a person than the man behind New York Voices,
Darmon Meader. He writes, "Here is a new young vocal quintet from Holland,
which is making some noise of its own in this idiom. (…) Throughout the recording,
the vocals are precise and well balanced, but not over produced, still having
an air of "live" performance about them. The arrangements are creative and well
executed, and the jazz elements are all there. (…) This is a wonderful debut
recording."
